Fund A Cure is an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of people living with T1D and  their loved ones through a 100% tax-deductible donation, which will accelerate life-changing research. Fund A Cure donations will be invested in JDRF’s effective and focused research agenda aimed to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until there is a cure.

This year, our support is motivated by the Hover Family. On August 28, 2021, just nine days after celebrating his 7th birthday, Nolan Hover was diagnosed with T1D. With no history of the disease, the entire family was turned upside down. The family found hope and comfort in JDRF. Nicole, Nolan’s mom, says “Every day we pray for a cure in his lifetime. We pray for further advancements in technology to make it easier. We pray for strength because my son and every child deserves a childhood without restriction and free from worry.”

Together, we have played a key role in the discovery and availability of nearly every major T1D advancement and we can’t stop now. Future breakthroughs start with us and JDRF needs us now more than ever! Every dollar raised through Fund A Cure gets us closer to a world without T1D.
